COUNTY EARNS THREE NYS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AWARDS FOR PROMOTIONS BY KOENIG ADVERTISING PUBLIC RELATIONS Tuesday, June 10, 2008 Three Onondaga County economic development promotions produced by Koenig Advertising Public Relations recently earned awards at the New York State Economic Development Council (NYSEDC) Marketing Awards competition. The “Syracuse/Central New York Executive Profile” booklet received a Certificate of Excellence. The colorfully-designed booklet offers companies and site consultants demographic and financial information about varied aspects of the region including workforce, education and real estate. A print ad titled, “Syracuse. The Cradle of Invention. The Crossroads of Innovation” also won a Certificate of Excellence. The ad illustrates in words and photos how Syracuse has nurtured innovation throughout its history. The third award was an Honorable Mention for a print advertising campaign promoting the Clay Business Park and the region for its abundant water supply. The three ads were headlined, “H2Oh!”, H2Whoa!”, and “H2Woe?” with the exclamation points and question mark designed as water drops.
